Anyone else going to Lakeside this Thursday evening? If so, I can offer a lift.

Jan,

I'm swimming at Lakeside on Thursday evening, but I will go straight there from work by
train, but If your going past Benfleet on the way home, I would appreciate a lift
to anywhere in Benfleet.

thanks

Paul

Not having swam at Lakeside before can someone please tell me where the best place to park is and where do I then go to get access to the lake? Thanks a lot, Ian

Park in the shopping centre multi storey right opposite the lake. The entrance to the lake is pretty obvious - just head for the diving centre. Any problems, call me 07791507585.

hi, how did the swimming at Lakeside go last night - was it the same format as Saturday mornings - a couple of mall groups practising open water swim drills and a group doing circuits of the lake?

Hi Neil,

Only one group last night, fast and slow ones!
Bit of practice drafting, deep water starts, small race, although my race pace is
the same as my normal pace and some sighting, although by all accounts Jan needs to practice her sighting, especially where boats are concerned.

Oi! Last time I offer you a lift home, Mr Horsley! What happened to confidence between club members? The girls wouldn't grass me up like that - probably.

Anyway, I did enjoy the swim. Especially being drowned with Gemmas help.
