Is anyone up for a long ride at the weekend. Don't mind if it's Sat or Sun - maybe a run after? Mark |

| Sunday it is then. I'm easy as far as route goes. I don't mind riding one of the routes that I have plotted before - either a 50ish or a 60ish miler. If any one has got a preference to a route they want to do or do more miles then feel free. John - if we are running after is it ok that we do a similar arrangement that you done with Neil last week that way I can chuck my trainers in yours on the way to the Crown. The two routes I had in mind was either the Dengie Marsh route at 68 miles or Ingatestone route at approx 58 miles. Mark |

Mark, the 68 Dengie run sounds good - weather forcast looks like rain on Sunday, so probably expect a few punctures, but a 7.30 start and 'short' run afterwards should see John home in plenty of time for his 1.30 deadline - he may even be able to have a core strenght session and shower before 1.30. I might have to miss the run as I'm under orders to lay off running for a few days but I'll see on the day.
So we should all be home in time to see the highlights of the Marathon, before switching to Eurosport to see the Paris-Roubaix (funny before I started this triathlon lark I always thought cycling on the tele was a bit boring, but now it's a must see...) _________________

All sound good to me...
Mark no issue with trainers.
Neil see you at my house in the morning..
Dengi sounds good not so with the punctures though.... Pleanty of spares required.... Perhaps they have put the tarmac down now????

I'm hoping to make Sunday. I drove out Dengie way today and the surface unfortunately hasn't improved. There is also some road works after Latchingdon but most likely passable on bike, especially on a Sunday. Think the rain is not till afternoon so hopefully be puncture free.
