 really looking forward to this Sunday's Aquatlon. This was my first ever multi-sport event - which I did last year, so hoping for a much faster time this year.
Its great seeing the kids outshine the adults in the afternoon.

Unfortunately lots of last year's kids are racing in the adults race this year so we're going to be feeling our age.

Looks like Richard did have a word with the weather Gods and while it may not have been a 'hot' day it was definately much better than yesterday. Also, good to see the weather holding for the kids - unlike last year.
Thanks to everyone who organised the event and to those who cheered on the competitors. Much better to have a medal this year to show for our efforts - nice touch!! |

A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE MARSHALS, REFEREES, REGISTRATION AND KIT PEOPLE, AND LADIES IN THE KITCHEN WHO DID A FANTASTIC JOB TODAY. YOU ALL CERTAINLY MADE MY LIFE EASIER.
Good Job Richard & Sue - you do a sterling job in organising it - we may not show it but we do appreciate it. |

Yes, the organisation was fantastic and it was a great event.
Thanks to everyone who made it happen, it was a really fun race with a great atmosphere.
