I go up there when I can on a Sunday moning and meet some of my old running friends up there Depending on who you are/speed etc I might be able to hook you up with some Bas AC runners who train up there.
Pitsea Runners also hold there Crown to Crown off-road 5k race from Westley Heights every second Wednesday of the summer months - entry £1.00.
Failing all that I can point you in the direction of some nice runs that way.
