Hi all
Many thanks to all for their efforts in arranging maps, etc. I will def. be cycling up. Meet at the Crown 12 noon, so I gather.
Primark pants? Better than Skydmark pants I suppose.

| Thanks everyone for an enjoyable cycle yesterday. Particular thanks to John for planning and leading a great route - lovely countryside and off busy roads - well done. Also thanks to all involved in arranging the aquathlon, coach and the loud welcome we got on arriving at the pool. Chris M |

John, thanks very much for the hard work you put into planning the route and leading the ride. Surely an early entry for Triathlete of the year. Thanks also for passing on some of your tyre changing tips!
Thanks to Richard for arranging the aquathlon with Harwich - must admit it was all a bit surreal - didn't even have to worry about my pre-race rituals. Really really happy it was only a 3k "run" (only 39k more on the 13th!!).
Was a brilliant and enthusiastic EETC reception when we reached the leisure centre. That alone made the cycle worthwhile.
When is a coach not a coach? When it's a bus!! _________________

I agree with Roomy (AKA Lynchy). John, brilliant effort on the route and for knobbling the time keepers to place me third place overall to secure the KitKats! For all those that actually beat me in terms of time (Rick, Keith and Paul), Ha Ha too late I've eaten them!! |

Well done to all....
Enjoyed the ride and we only went wrong a couple of times....
I will always have memories of that Hill..... does it go down or does it go up..... The Young Boy got it right!!!!!
the pub we passed with everyone sitting outside by the river..... so close to giving in to 'No beer' at that point.....
The drinks stop and then the toilet stop.... Those yellow tops cant hide you in a green fields ladys.......
I think we all looked the part and rode the part..... and I think those other cyclists were impressed when we went past.....
the reception was great ..... cow bells wistles and loads of noise.....
I think all our other halfs did us proud with making sure everything was ready for us....
But I must admit...... That bloody run hurt..... and I couldnt get rid of the cramping in my stomach ...... But after walking for a while it still didnt go.... so thought I might as well run again... Hope that dosnt happen on the 13th....

| John - I think we all got cramp in our stomach - I am hoping it was down to the fact that I was running faster than I normally do and I will certainly not be running at anywhere near that pace on the 13th. Chris |
