John, I'll probably be out but only for 50 miles or so as I am doing my long ride on Friday. If the weather is OK I will probably be out on my time trial bike as I need to get some miles in using my race bike.

Would prefer to meet at 7.00 but am happy to go with the flow.

Ian

ok.... seems like we have a plan..

chas will also be joining us...

lets all meet at 7.00am at the crown.....

I will work on a route, so chris can look at driving or cycling depending on what way we head out and back.....

I will aim for 70 + miles....

Thanks - will probably take my other bike - not that mine seems to go any faster - thats what I get for buying a"girlie" bike!! I will prob cycle from mine regardless of route as can usually drop off at convenient time/call a cab to take me home when I drop off and everyone is out of sight/stop off for a pint of beer (in practice for Hungary), so don't plan route for me, but thanks for thinking of me anyway. I'll join you for the first half...until I drop off the pace and cycle back on my lonesome.

Will you be putting a Google maps route up on here?

Just to keep you guessing... I have completed two routes.......

Will decide in the morning what route to use.......

Expect to get lost, both have sections that I have not rode before..... so part will undoubtedly turn into a mystery trip......

c u all at 7.00am

Wow - good work fella. Needless to say my fave route involves the Maldon 'cliff'!

Graet Ride today....

We believe it was about 77-78 from crown to crown..... plus what anyone else rode to get there and back...... we only went wrong a couple of times...

I had the average at just below 19 when we stoped at Maldon at about 58 - 60 miles and finished with over 17,5 for the whole trip.....

Hope you got home ok Ian, thanks for the help with the sat nav....

I was with Mark and Chris this afternoon, I think we were all a bit tired.... well I know I was....

John...

I was really tired. Great route thanks, shame we were going so fast we couldn't admire the countryside (well maybe I was only going fast when I was able to hand on)!!
