Thanks John for taking time to plot the route, felt quite pleased at the end of ride having covered 83 miles, the furthest ive been this year.

Yes indeed I did make it home, though confess to taking the short route back through Battlesbridge not the planned one through Wickford.
Did manage to keep a (almost) decent pace though, so maybe next week I'll try for the long run.
I did pick up the drinks bottle that was discarded on Hullbridge Road in a fit of frustration (was it Lee?) so if you want it back you can collect from 21b Trinity Road, Rayleigh (ring 01268 777901 to check someone is in but that will be most of the time including daytimes), or I can bring it along to a training ride.

| Ian - thanks you have absolved my concsience, as I was feeling guilty all day yesterday for polluting the environment. Finders, keepers etc., have a free aero drinks bottle on me - I may have acted out of frustration but I'd already made up my mind that this particular accessory isn't for me. Enjoy! |
