Hi All,

We are looking at the possibility of putting on a bike maintenance course within the next month or so.

This will be held within the local area and will either be held on a weekday evening or weekend, with a small charge for room hire.

We can look at basic maintenance and repairs and hopefully answer any questions that you may have.

Before we do this we would like to know how many would be interested and iwhat you may like to see covered in this course.

Please either reply to this post or speak to Graeme Silcock or myself if you are interested.

Many thanks

Hi Dan,

I am definitely interested and would like to learn all the basics:

Gearing & cassette, brake maintenance and maybe some bike fit tips!

Ditto. Not at all technical but I'd love to have a bit more confidence at the basics...if someone's patient enough! Very Happy

Thankyou everyone for your reponses!

It would appear that we have quite a lot of interest in this course.

I have a tentative date of the 10th December, we hope to hold this at the Rayleigh cricket clubhouse starting at 10am.

Please keep an eye on this post as it may change or be updated!

Hi All,

Just to give you an update as a few things have changed........

The date has now changed to the 17th December and will be held at Rayleigh cricket club.

The plan(ish) is to start at 11:00 where we will have a session looking at maintance and adjustments, we will also like to give you some hints tips on bike fitting....

To help fit everything in the Saturday morning run will start from here and the secrect Santa will also take place with some teas and coffees. We will be asking for a few pounds contribution for the hall and teas and coffees, we will also have to put our heads together regarding some post run snacks!!!

To help with the planning can you please confirm that you can make this time/date.

Many thanks,

Dan

I'll be there, sounds like a fun-packed morning with some much needed information on the bike! My technical knowledge leaves alot to be desired.

Thanks,

Jan
